So I see these slides, or at least I thought that they were slides, and I’m wondering what exactly they are. They are orthopedic slides or house shoes that reduce the burden on the soles of your feet. So they are slides, just a little extra.I ordered them because after reading more about them, I thought that these slides might be good for me since I suffer from arthritis. So I ordered them. I will admit that they aren’t the most beautiful shoes, but if they help then who cares. My house, my comfort. The very first thought, after slipping my foot into the orthopedic slide, was not great. I didn’t like the outer material, which is mesh. The rest of the shoe is made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. I don’t really know much of anything about what they are made of.But I wore them around for a couple hours and they started to grow on me. Normally towards the end of the day my feet would feel like they had no cushioning left. And it is painful for me to walk. I honestly don’t remember my feet hurting that night. So I decided to wear them exclusively while at home. And I have to admit that they are comfortable.I don’t know if they are helpful, but I did find some literature on the description of what they are helpful with. It states that they are “women’s arch support with an ergonomic arch design that reduces foot arch pressure for easier walking by keeping your body in balance”. That was a lot. I also found that they are apparently really good for people with flat feet, which I do not have. But I can accept and appreciate what they are doing with these slides/shoes. So I’m going to continue wearing my “slides” and enjoy whatever benefit I can gather from them.
